Introduction

When COVID19 forced the closure of Sephora stores across the United States, it caused a lot of concern about the future of the business and the health of the clientele. The goal of this project was to bring the ways Sephora cares for their customers and people on the front lines to the forefront. Whether it be through a care kit or publishing health and hygiene standards, every decision was made to show we care and are doing things to keep the clientele and others healthy.

Sephora Launches Project Care to Send Thank-You Kits to Health Care Workers (via allure.com)

This project was created at Sephora.

Knowing that first responders have been working tirelessly to treat the number of patients, Sephora wanted to give back and show its thanks. With Project Care Package, Sephora supplied care kits to over 65,000 front line health care workers. These hospitals were nominated by employees who believed these locations deserved recognition in the form of essential skincare kits. Included in these kits were designed individual thank you note cards and table signage.

Sephora Is Reopening and Making Some Serious Changes (via stylecaster.com)

This project was created at Sephora.

As states began to slowly rollback shelter in place orders, Sephora stores began opening up to the public with precautions in place. In order to create a safe environment for all, signage was created to be displayed in stores and emailed to customers explaining how Sephora was keeping clients safe while shopping in store.

To create a calm backdrop for a serious message, we worked with the illustrator Maggie Stevenson to develop simple graphics. Icons were developed for each guideline, making scanning each point easier.
